How Do I Start Business

This often-overlooked technique is a handy way to include your website address in every email you send out whether business or personal and thereby keeping your URL in front of people. One of the really great ways to promote your website is by using your email signature function.

More or less, the results are that you can slip your URL in under the radar. The nice thing about using the email signature is that an email scrubber will not see the signature as a traditional "link" associated with and contained in junk mail.

This is especially helpful for three specific reasons:

To promote your website URL link as mentioned above. 1.

This can work with free blogs too (see my author profile for a sample). The employers just "clicks to view" your resume. This keeps your cover from getting scrubbed and not having to have attachments. Just tell the potential employer to click the link to your resume page appearing in the signature area, when you send out job query/ email cover letters, in this way. You can build a dedicated resume-site and use the site link in the email signature. To provide a link to an online resume--many Internet providers today offer free personal websites. 2.

(You can see a sample in my author profile). Just have them click to view a media information site for more info, either a personal website or a blog can be customized specifically for the media and rather than sending them email press releases, again. To send press releases to the media. 3.

For those of you who don't know how to set up an email signature do this:

Most people either use outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express so here's a quickie for outlook express: Click help and search the index for "signature" and your help files will guide you, whatever email program you are using.

Open your email program. 1.

Click on tools 2.

Click on options (You will see a row of tabs) 3.

Click on signature 4.

And follow the instructions. . . Click new. 5.

Send yourself the email and verify the link works and there are no misspells, to test your email signature.

Just kidding. . . . Donations accepted. . . This is a really cool idea if you haven't thought of it yet.

To your success!
